    Opening Reception: Second Nature

Anne Neilson Fine Art, 6 PM

Join us at Anne Neilson Fine Art for the opening reception of Second Nature, an exhibition that brings together a dynamic group of contemporary artists exploring the instinctual, the organic, and the deeply familiar. Through depictions of animals, figures, and movement, the works blur the line between the natural world and what feels innate within us—our “second nature.”

Enjoy an evening of art, conversation, and community with fellow art lovers. We’ll have wine and beer as you experience this vibrant new collection. Come connect, celebrate, and discover the harmony and tension between nature and the instinctive through art.

Artist Talk for 'Passage: Journey of the Head and Heart' Art Exhibition

Presented by QC Family Tree, Wonderworld West End Studios, 6 PM

Life is an ever-shifting movement between places, moments, and states of being. Passage: Journey of the Head and Heart brings together works that explore how we navigate these transitions.

This exhibition considers the many ways we journey: through physical landscapes and migrations, through emotional terrain shaped by love, loss, and resilience, and through spiritual quests that reach toward meaning and transcendence.

The head and the heart—rational thought and deep feeling—become twin guides in these explorations, charting paths that are both intimate and universal.

    Paint and Petals

The Ivy Place Berry and Flower Farm, 9 AM

Come join us at The Ivy Place Berry and Flower Farm for a relaxing morning of painting and enjoying the beauty of nature! This event is perfect for anyone looking to unleash their creativity while surrounded by gorgeous flowers. Whether you're a seasoned artist or just looking to try something new, this event is for you. Grab your friends and family and spend the morning painting and admiring the colorful petals all around you. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to get in touch with your artistic side!

The art class will be taught by Rene Gallipeau from Whimsical Pastels and artist John Abisch. John's work is best described as impressionistic realism. His brush strokes are loose, and his finished pieces are best viewed from a distance. His smaller paintings feature a tighter style, and he works with both watercolor and oils. Rene's artwork is impressionist in nature and often quickly drawn, capturing the essence of her subjects. She primarily uses pastels. Together, Rene and John will guide you through capturing the beauty of a floral composition. As you paint, you can enjoy light refreshments creating the perfect blend of artistry, relaxation, and nature.

    Each ticket will include:
